regan baker design

After much thought and deliberation about what the name of my new business should be, the name regan baker design has emerged. It was a pretty tough decision and I think pretty creative. :) According to one of the new business leader in 08', my husband, who will emerge from his Kellogg MBA next year, my name would be the best way to have others recognize my new business with the products and services I provide. It's his fault if my business fails. Just kidding.:)

I've been working out of our sublet apartment in San Francisco. We will be moving back to Evanston, IL around September 2nd where I can get settled in for another year of the MBA program. My move to San Francisco for Jace's Google internship was required to save money, but to also to get a feel of San Francisco as a possible city to move to after graduation; and most importantly to get some much appreciated quality time with Jace since b-school seems to occupy most of our fun time. Starting a business in a different state has been much more difficult than I expected. It's doable but I definitely do not recommend it. :)

To date, I have one client in Evanston, and 2 clients in California, which happen to be mothers of friends that we have meet at Kellogg. This should keep me busy throughout my stay in San Francisco. regan baker design will hopefully be flourishing by this time next year. Spread the word, I'm on my own and available, for work that is. :)
